Day 64: Arriving at Sorrento

We took the circumvesuviana train to Sorrent from Napoli. In about 1 hour 15 mins, we were here in Sorrento!

Walking around Sorrrento! Super quiet and peaceful. From here, we could enjoy the coastal view and the Mount Vesuvius.
Day 66: Hiking in Sorrento (termini)

We took a direct bus from Sorrento Train Station to Termini, the trail head of today’s hike. It is a tiny town, nothing much there.
Day 67: Amalfi Coast Hike

We had a short period of time to walk around the Amalfi town. We had a chance to visit the Basilica and along the cost in town.

Day 71: Walk around Matera

Day 71: Fall in love with Matera

Day 73: Leaving Matera

Day 73: Bari Central

We traveled to Bari for transiting to a bus to Noci, our next destination. Bari is the transit hub for southern Italy. It is connected to many places in the Southern Italy.

We definitely love this small town! Noci is very quiet and close to all other touristy places. It is a hidden gem of southern Italy!
Day 74: Alberobello

The more well-known Alberobello in Southern Italy. It is famous for the ‘trulli’, the cone-shaped house. There is a spot in Alberobello where the houses are more densely populated, which makes aもっと詳しく
Day 76: Martina Franca

This is not originally a place on the list, but we thought we were around the area already, so just dropped by to take a look. It is a larger city and full of white building. You don’t need anもっと詳しく
Day 76: Locorotondo

Day 78: Grotte di Castellana

The cave extended for 3.348 metres and reaches a depth of 122m below street level. It could only be visit with the cave tour, we joined the 11am English tour. No photo is allowed except the firstもっと詳しく
Day 79: Last walk around in Noci

Our final full day in Noci. It has been our most favourite town to live so far. It is small, but well-connected, and most importantly, away from the tourists. We would love to come back some day!
Day 80: Walk around Bari

Our time in Italy has come to an end. It is time for a new journey in Greece. We took the SuperFast ferry to Igoumenitsa, Greece. It took us 10 hours to arrive in Greece. The ferry is horrible with aもっと詳しく
Day 81: Arriving Igoumenitsa

Good morning Greece! Nice and early! Time to check in to our hotel next to the port to get some sleep.
Day 82: Leaving Igoumenitsa

Igoumenitsa is just a port town, we just stayed there for 1 night for recovery over the overnight boat ride. Today we are heading to Thessaloniki, the second largest city in Greece.

The Thessaloniki Macedonian Ktel Bus station is amazing. Very well organized and user-friendly. Our first impression to Thessaloniki is very good.
Day 84: Walk around Thessaloniki

Thessaloniki is full of history. In 1988, the UNESCO declared world heritage sites 15 of the ‘finest monuments’ of the city. We tried to nail down this 15 sites. They are just within walking distance.
