Day 1: Leaving Aberdeen, Hong Kong

Goodbye Aberdeen, where we spent most of our time here in Hong Kong! It’s time to start our Chapter 2 adventure :ïŒ
Day 1: West Kowloon Station

Last stop in Hong Kong! The West Kowloon Station which all the high speed rail trains gather. We will be taking a train to the first stop of Chapter 2, Chongqing đšđł
Day 1: Shenzhen North Station

Back to where we ended Chapter 1 of our adventure!
Day 1: Chongqing West Station

After 7 hours train ride, we are finally here to start our Chapter 2 adventure!
Day 1: Small walk in Chongqing

Looking for food in Chongqing near our hotel area. Came across the beautiful lightings, can’t wait seeing more in this big city!
Day 2: Rest in Chongqing

A little rest and a little walk in Chongqing đšđł also found a fancy shopping mall but with very few people!
Day 3: Chongqing North Train Station

Nice and early today. We are not taking train thought. We are catching a 1.5 hours bus at the long distance bus station to Dazu for the rock carvings there. The bus costs CNY44, a smooth ride to Dazu.
Day 3: Dazu Bus Station

After 1.5 hours bus ride, we are at Dazu Bus Station. We are trying to look for the local bus 205 that would take us to Dazu Rock Carvings, Bodingshan area directly. The bus stop is a bit difficult toLĂ€s mer
Day 3: Baodingshan Rock Carvings

Dazu Rock Carving area is divided into several sites. Today we will just be visiting Baodingshan and Beishan, these 2 areas to make it a full day in Dazu. Dazu Rock Carving was inscribed as a UNESCOLĂ€s mer
Day 3: Transit to Beishan Rock Carvings

Beishan Rock Carving is closer to the city. There is a tourist local bus that brought us to there directly from Baodingshan. It costs only 3RMB and it takes only 30 mins.
Day 3: Beishan Rock Carvings

People said it’s less stunning than the Baodingshan Rock Carving. However, we still find it quite interesting. It has a longer history than Baodingshan. We are happy that we could be so close to theLĂ€s mer
Day 3: Dazu Bus Station

It’s time to end our day and catch the almost-the-last bus at 6pm back to Chongqing.
Day 3: Chongqing North Train Station

Back to Chongqing North Train Station and make our way back to the hotel by metro
Day 4: Walk around Chongqing City

A short walk around the city with the 18 stairs heritage area. It’s full of tourists and very commercial. Too packed to our liking.
Day 4: Mountain City Lane

Just next to the 18 stairs heritage was a short city hiking trail along the ancient wall. There were a few heritage there, but again very crowded.
Day 5: Chongqing North Station

Taking a 2-hour K-class train to, Wulong, which is just outside Chongqing. The Chongqing North Station is huge and quite crowded due to the CNY crowd.
Day 5: Wulong Train Station

Here we arrived at the starting point of our trip in Wulong, a few day trips branching out here.
Day 6: Jiang Kou Village

We took a local bus 201 from Wulong City Center to Jiang Kou Village. From here we walked 2.6km uphill to the cave. Then, the cable car will take us to the cave.
Day 6: Furong Cave

Our first place to visit in the Wulong area was the Furong Cave!
Furong Cave is located onof Furong River, the largest tributary of Wulong River, at an altitude of 480 meters.

Day 6: Back to Wulong

Back to Wulong with the local bus 201 and finished our 1-day Furong Cave journey.
Day 7: Walk around Wulong

We were a bit tired from the walk in Furong Cave yesterday. So today we decided to take an easy day with just walking around this small town.
Day 8: Wulong Bus Station

Wulong Bus Station to take the bus to Xiannu Mountain area for the Natural bridges.
Day 8: Three Natural Bridges

The UNESCO world heritage site of 3 natural bridges (怩çäžæĄ„) in the Wulong karst region form the largest natural bridge cluster in Asia. Three Natural Bridges is composed of Tianlong Bridge,LĂ€s mer
Day 8: Lonshuixia Fissure Gorge

Just 10 mins bus ride, we arrived at Lonshuixia Fissure Gorge. A 2 km pleasant walk around the gorge with a few waterfalls.
Day 8: Xiannu Shan Tourist Center

Ended our day trip at the Xiannu Shan Tourist Information Center. The building is pyramid-shaped, which made it easy to be recognized. It is the central place where tourists start and end theirLĂ€s mer
