Day 24 - Pigeon Forge, TN

Before you get to The Great Smoky Mountain National Park, you drive through Pigeon Forge. It is like a mix between Disney and Vegas. It was full of glitz and fun looking family places. There were comedy venues, multiple go cart tracks, animals (including sharks and alligators), and many magic and performance venues. From the outside they all looked well done.

One of the places, called Wonderworks, looked like the building was upside down!

They seemed to like to steal famous place names from all over, like King Kong, Alcatraz East, the Titanic, Smoky Mountain Opry and more. I wish we had more time to go check some of them out.Read more
