Los 3 Portrillos - Jennings, LA

Los 3 Portrillos Mexican Restaurant was a gem of a find. We were getting hungry and couldn't wait to our hotel stop. I happened upon a Yelp review using the iExit app (a great app for travelers) and we gave it a chance. It was off of a frontage road in the middle of nowhere between New Orleans and Houston. It looked sketchy as we pulled up. We almost drove off, but decided to give it a chance. Thank goodness!

Inside it was adorable. Wood carved an painted chairs. Tile inlaid tables, frescos on the walls. It looked great. The food was just as amazing! had the Fajitas Texana, which comes with shrimp, beef, chicken and chorizo. The spices were perfect and the grilled peppers and onions were done to perfection! Jenn had the chicken fajitas and the kids had steak quesadillas. All were great.
