Typical Maltese dinner in Mosta

After all these walks and steps, it was not a surprise that we have been very hungry (and somewhat thirsty too...).
We decided to go for a typical Maltese restaurant, and followed the advice of our guide, and went to the Ta'Marija restaurant.
It felt like we have been brought back to the 60's/70's with an quite outdated decoration, but a very pleasant and smiling host (Belinda), very buoyant woman with a touch of French language.
Pénélope chose a beef and egg stew, while Béatrice and I had the rabbit mixed plate, a choice of various rabbit cookings. All of this with a choice of veggies, and also with Maltese wine by the glass.
Actually, we both had two big glasses, rosé for Béatrice, red for me, no grudges, our driver was the bus driver 😁
Finally, we went with Pénélope back to her place, and took a small bag for her back to our hotel, as she is going to spend the weekend with us...Read more
