Myakka State Park Feb 2015

What a beautiful Park. We camped on Lot 27 for one night. It was a small site but very shaded. The rest of the weekend we camped at site 79 which had full hookups and it was huge lot. This park has sewerhookups as well which is nice.

This was for a large geocaching event that is a lot of fun. There are over 300 geocaches in this very large park. You can get lost here.

So much to do and so beautiful. Highly recommend it. The Myakka river is great for kayaking or canoeing. There rent them there. Lots of mile of bike trails.

The bathrooms are very nice and clean. It is also maybe 15 minutes from civilization. Spotty cell phone service and non existent in some parts. I would be careful with pets due to the many alligators. Be careful out there.Baca selengkapnya
