A new beginning

I've never really done the whole blog thing before. But I do hoard things. Photos, tickets, momentos, rocks. Whatever I can gather, wherever I am. And all these things sit in boxes gathering dust. They are moments in time, but have nothing tethering them. So by writting a little story I hope to string them together. Honestly this blog is for me, so it will be rough around the edges, but I know how much I enjoy dipping into other people's lives and seeing the adventures of my family and friends so I hope you find something interesting in it too.

Oh, and I have a new camera. My first ever proper camera. So be prepared for lots of experimental photography.Read more

Hooray for sisters! Georgia and I are chalk and cheese. She loves designer clothes and fast cars. I love rivers and mountains. She loves a glass of white, by the pool with a movie. I love a glass of red, a beach and a book. But do I love her to bits and just occasionally we have the exact the same idea. Today it was Tiffany's. So we treated each other to a parting gift (opened early of course because neither of us can resist an unopened present!) Matching necklaces for two sisters who have far more in common than either of us admit.Read more

I love Edinburgh in August. There's no city like it, anywhere at all. And this year was no exception. A couple of shows, a bit of sunshine, a lot of catching up...pretty perfect if you ask me
