Basco - Day 2

Enjoy and good nights sleep and get up late at 9:30. Head to harbour cafe for breakfast but it’s not open so ride to Pension Ivatan instead. Ride back into town, spoke to coastguard about ferry, refuel bike, and drop scooter back to Cielo shop for 11:30. Walked to harbour cafe and have ice coffee while paying bills, planning trip to Sabtang island, and flights to other parts of the Philippines. Head back to guesthouse to pick some things up and then get lunch at Beehan cafe before walking to lighthouse and finding a small market garden and stopping in at a church. Back to guesthouse before heading out to get cash (no ATM on next island) and dinner. PNB ATM not working so walk to other atm on other side of town (card won’t work). Get dinner at Beehan and then walk back to guesthouse and ask if she’ll hold USD as collateral until we return from Sabtang and PNB atm working. All good so get an early night in preparation for 5am Jeepney to ferry tomorrow morning.Read more
