Celebrating two years of Team Denmark by flying off to Iceland! We got to the airport early and spent Phil's winnings (he bet £10 that Trump would win the election.....boo!) on Wagamamas and prosecco. We stocked up on wine since we knew it would be extortionate over there and found our apartment which was right in the centre of very tiny Reykjavik. First full day in Reykjavik. We discover that it is TINY and not as cold as we had thought but definitely as expensive. We went on a walking tour and perused many a magnet shop so I was obviously thrilled. We found Mikeller and spent £35 on a couple of thimbles of craft beer. Our northern lights tour was cancelled at the last minute so we went back to the apartment and googled pictures of them whilst (slowly) drinking the rest of our wine 🍷Read more
