    Last day Australia. And fiji

    November 15, 2017 in Fiji ⋅ ⛅ 29 °C

Today is my last day in Australia. I had an awesome time. The country of road trains, long drives, expensive alcohol, lots of flys

Finnally on my flight to fiji. It's a 4 hour flight from Sydney. When I arrived it was instantly humid and warm after I got out of the plane. And of course there where people playing music when I came out of the plane, just as in the Movies.

Now the fun starts. At the customs they asked me where I was staying, when I said local then I had to explain everything, they took me to a special room to interrogate me. Asking me why I'm here, how long I'm staying, where I have been, what I've been doing, what work I normally do, how I know the local, and all that sort of stuff. In the end I was free to go and I could pickup my bag. After I got my bag I had to go to another special room where I got interrogated again. He explained to me that there are locals trying to rob you from money and stuff. But in the end I could go. It was quite funny because hey didn't even checked my bag at all.

I met up with sawi, he is the local I'm staying with. There was also another backpacker from Belgium. When. We got at his house. Nani his wife made us some food. Their house looked like an old shed. Really basic, it's funny to see the big difference in way of living.
