Helsinki

Off at 9 to catch ferry to Soumenlinna Fort, just off Helsinki coast. An old fortress from the late 1700s. Some amazing buildings and architecture. Cannons and wild coastline. We got back to the mainland, picked up our luggage and after lunch at an Aussie bar we found, caught the train to the airport. Our flight is delayed for an hour. Helsinki is a wonderful place. So open and not a huge amount of people. It was refreshing to come here after the crush of London. The people are very friendly. The weather has been chilly.
