A bus adventure!

Today, we have planned to visit Northern Holland, Edam, Volendam and Marken by bus. We don’t know what to expect. We have layered up and hope not to get rained on.
Bus travel to Edam is pleasant, and we get there around 9:30. The town is just waking up. Not much action so we walk around uninhibited and get a nice feeling about the quaint cobblestone streets that run parallel to the canals. Row houses line the spotlessly clean streets. All three villages have cleanliness in common as we would soon find out. We took a few pictures and it started to rain as we headed for the bus. Next stop Volendam.Read more
