Nuremberg Castle

Nuremberg castle, according to our guide has never fallen to the enemy. We are talking Middle Ages here. It is a formidable structure built at the top of a sandstone hill with a moat and thick doors. Also Nuremberg is the birthplace of the Lutheran church. All of the churches here used to be Catholic, but a persuasive fellow named Martin Luther convinced the city to switch over.
