On tour in Split

A morning tour of the Diocletian Palace was offered so we took it up. It dates back to 305 ad and is an interesting place to spend time. Recently, ( since 1946 or so) there has been archaeological excavations of the basement. We spent most of our time above ground this morning learning some history of Split, and enjoying the sites that the walled city has to offer.Read more
