Scenic World Blue Mountains

The last stop for today is at Scenic World, an old coal mine in the mountains. First we take the gondola over to the train.
The coal mine closed long ago, but it is such a nice rain forest, they decided to turn it into a tourist area. There is a steep train ride, that was a part of the coal train. It puts you in position to walk a boardwalks through the forest and then ride a cable car back up to the top.

The train holds the Guinness Book record for the steepest passenger railway in the world. It has a 52 degree incline!

Dinner was our own adventure. We caught the tram to The Rocks. Tom guided us to one of the oldest restaurants with a rooftop patio and we enjoyed our evening.Baca lagi
