We had lunch in this neighborhood and picked up some fruit for tomorrow’s bus ride. The market was huge and well attended.

This is probably the first of many churches/ Cathedrals to visit. It is large not too decadanct.
The grounds are pretty and well cared for.

Anglesea, Lorne, Separation creek, Wye river, Apologies bay are places that sound like they should be in NewfoundLand but are on the Great Ocean Road south of Melbourne. The destination is The 12Læs mere
So this is what we rode on the bus for 8 hours on a windy, twisty, queezy tummy ocean road to see the 12 Apostles. The “stacks” as they are called. We saw only 8 not 12….

As the story goes a ship, the Loch Ard crashed into the rocks May 1878. 2 survived; climbed the cliffs and made there way to a farmhouse for help. It is amazing anyone could survive these waters.
This morning we hit the floor running; up at 5, brekkie at 6 and bus to the airport at 630!

The new parliament building has been open since 1988. Our tour gave us the opportunity to see representatives chamber and the senate chamber. The government functions much like Canadian parliamentLæs mere
Another early morning, brekkie & luggage loaded by 8 am. Flight to Cairns with a quick stop in Brisbane was good but makes for a long day.
