Buddha park and COPE

We successfully took the public bus out to the strange Buddha park. The place is quite small but it is chocked full of hand-carved statues and a small building you can climb into and up through which is also full of statues. There is a mix of Buddhas and Hindu statues throughout, some happy and beautiful and some darker ones. It's an interesting place to wonder around. After heading back to the city we visited the COPE centre which has a small museum dedicated to the cluster bomb and it effects. The centre itself is a charity which support people who have been affected by the bombs and does amazing work providing prosthetic for free. Finished the day in a fancy cafe with a blue butterfly pea latte.Read more
