Cycling Bangkok to Hua Hin (56km)

Having spent yesterday enjoying the rooftop pool at the hotel, it was now time to start the epic cycling tour. We met our guides and then boarded the mini-van to head south to Petchaburi where we visited Tham Khao Luang temple cave. It had two main rooms and was about three stories high., legion has it an old King discovered the place by abseiling down into it from an air hole at ground level. We had lunch at a trendy cafe, before heading to the hotel in Hua Hun to leave our bags and collect our bikes. Now I was super nervous, everyone else cycled as their main hobby or commuted by bike, which put me firmly in the worse cyclist category. Luckily today's warm up round cycle to Hua Hin was slow and traffic free. We went through farms and plantations and stopped at Wat Mongkol, a popular shrine with a huge image of the famous monk.
