Day two

So we are in the road and we drove. We went to Florida and drove off the beaten track through Perdido Key, downtown Pensacola with welcoming umbrellas like we have in Slidell (and I saw in the Brussels airport) Pensacola Beach and Gulf Breeze. We used my Senior Pass to visit the Gulf Islands National Seashore and really enjoyed the beach waves and beautiful white sand. Then enjoyed lunch, lobster crab cakes and shrimp salad at The Shack in Ft Walton Beach. In Destin we found The Commons where I found Southern Living store. In Sandestin we went to the Silver Sands outlets where the Swarovski store got me! Visiting Seaside and Watercolor brought us a huge surprise where it was inundated by Spring Break. So happy when we found Pizza by the Sea right next to a Ben & Jerry’s shop! A quick stop to sleep at Evoke, an IHG property.En savoir plus
