Churchill Downs

Home of the Kentucky Derby, some folks attending the races, were wearing hats and fascinations. We arrive late, but in time to shop a bit before enjoying a tour. Our tour guide Steve walked us right down to the track, where races were actually in progress. We got to see the horses parade with their track ponies that offer support and guidance to the race horses who might otherwise be disturbed by the crowds and noise caused by the spectators. We were at the finish line, so we saw the horses led into the starting gate, the gate moved, to be out of the way, and watched #2, my choice, win the race. Best part, I have now seen a horse race in person, and it was at Churchill Downs!Baca lagi
