Cambodia Landmine Museum, Siem Reap

A somber but interesting start to the morning. Our tour guide had lost a leg by stepping on a landmine as a child, and the blast had also killed his brother and sister. He was able to tell us his story, and gave us details about the gentlemen who set up the musuem - and who also found all the bombs which we currently on display. An eye opening experience, but our guide was very positive for the future, only wanting to be able to help orphans and injured children in the same way he was helped.Read more
