Fort Canning, Singapore

Fort Canning was a great mixture of a public park and musuem. The hill it self has so much history, and the park was lovely to wander around. In the peak heat of the day I was so happy to see escalators come into view though as it was a steep climb! Only in Singapore would it seem normal to get an escalator while watching squirrels run around.

The main reason to visit was for the musuem, which was informative, and we both really appreciated the aircon. We also went to view the possible tomb of Keramat Sultan Iskandar Shah, one of the last Kings of Singapore.

Having some time to relax we enjoyed a sit down on a swing for a few minutes - although the video doesn't make it look like Luke enjoyed this!Read more
