    We were told by our hosts that this small church had only just been renovated and opened to the public, so we were lucky to be able to see inside. The opening hours were also surprisingly short so we were happy we were able to visit quite easily.

    The building itself was quite an unusual design, with doors at the side as well as the front. The inside had been beautifully decorated with murals around every wall, but they had been worn away or bleached by the sun.

    The views outside were outstanding, as you would expect with Triora, although quite low compared to the rest of the town it was still perched high up in the mountains.
