Friendly staff, we were able to check in early. Good breakfast buffet. Great location, trams to Alexanderplatz just a few minutes walk away.

T R A N S P O R T A T I O N :

We bought Berlin Welcome Cards, which included all public transport in zones AB and discounts on many attractions. Although many of the places we went to were FOC, we still saved more than the additional cost of a BWC over and above the cost of the equivalent public transport day passes.

We also made extensive use of BVG’s Fahrinfo app for route planning (and used the app to buy our BWCs plus any additional tickets for journeys in zone BC).
