Day 33

After some research we discovered there is nothing to do here bar the lagoons! So we did some admin this morning and booked a few remaining bits and bobs. Then headed down to the river side for some lunch and enjoyed a £3 cocktail. We then went for a walk along the river front and found a market to browse in. We also tried Açai for the first time after we discovered it’s traditionally Brazilian. It’s like a sweet paste which you then load up with cream, fruits and various toppings. It was quite nice but not sure it’s something I could have regularly. We then wandered the high street before retreating to our hotel, we also saw a huge iguana on the walk home! We have a long travel day starting at 8am tomorrow! We are getting the bus back to Sao Luis to then get another overnight bus to Belem!Leggi altro
