Gordon, Nebraska

55 mile ride today with 1,800 ft ascent. The city of Gordon is 3,500 ft above sea level located in the Sandhills of Nebraska. It was a nice ride on US RT 20 with prarie views and many Cattle Ranches on both sides. Western Prarie conditions appear very dry compared to central and eastern Nebraska. There was a strong headwind and hot heat along the way, so pleased to have a hotel in Gordon to cool down.Lue lisää
