    53 mile ride with 1,600 ft ascent toward middle Washington state. Traveled from St John to Ralston. Ralston was named such after supplying grain to the Ralston company when the town was a stop along The Milwaukee Tracks.
    Amazed at how few people, buildings and roads in eastern Washington. Note - bring lots of water.
    Ralston town was very gracious to allow us to camp in the shaded park. They open the air-conditioned Grange building to help keep us cool on another 100 plus degree day.    Read more
