June 16th, Friday. Preparation day.

Amy had arranged the wedding and pulled everything together herself, ably assisted by her “deputy” Juergen.

So a bunch of us spent a good part of the day helping out. Moving stuff off the pool deck area, setting up the DJ’s marque, hanging lighting, assembling the dance floor and constructing the “Oshkosh Harbour Bridge” as we christened the walkway across the pool.

Amy had everything nailed down to the finest detail. Later in the afternoon we went out on their boat for a pre sundowner for and hour or so. Long days here, It’s light before 5 am and it does not get dark till well after 9 pm.Read more
