The day after!

June 18th, Sunday. The day after.

Awoke relatively early, and had a cooked breakfast out on the patio, compliments of Loyda and Joven. They are such hospitable hosts to us!

Then a bunch of us got stuck into tidying up the back garden and pool area, and it was pretty much restored to pre event status by the time Amy and Juergs returned latter morning. They had spent the night over at Appleton as they had a houseful of guests.

For lunch Amy and Juergs very generously took about 30 or more of us to lunch at their favourite restaurant, Field and Fire. The food was delicious and the company great. Again sat with Nancy snd Joe, particularly as they departed after the meal to head back to Aspen via Milwaukee. I will probably catch up with them again in February, during the annual ski pilgrimage.Read more
