Taiwan, here I come.

I left my hotel with the terrible experience of total elevator chaos, it was hilarious, everybody wanted to leave at the same time, my elevator was broken and instead of a promised 750kg, it could not even handle 3 adults and a child, I had to wait 25mins before I could even enter an elevator and another 15min to reach the lobby. That's what you get if your checkout and breakfast time is too early. People need to sleep and don't want to have breakfast at 6:30 when they are on vacation, goddamit. Aside from that Toyoko Inn is a nice Hotel chain. I left my luggage for a bit longer and had a final stroll around town, grabbing the last cafe latte in my new favourite coffee house. Once I collected my luggage I finally took a Taxi to the airport. South Korea Taxi prices are super reasonable, the 15km 30mins ride to the airport cost me just 11€. Sadly the price in Taiwan and Japan will be much more expensive, so Taxi's won't really be an option in the future. At the airport I spent a long time waiting till I could drop my check-in luggage and after security and immigration, I strolled to Sky Hub Lounge, where I visited an Airport Lounge for the first time. I have included priority pass base membership with my Visa Card, and it will still cost me 30€, but I guess once in a while you can enjoy some luxury. All the food and drinks, as well as comfy seating is free in the lounge and of course, I gorged myself on the really nice food :-) my plane to Taipei also got delayed, so even more time to enjoy the one time lounge access I will use during my trip, there won't be another airport where it's worth it timewise afterwards. Die Taxipreise in Südkorea sind super günstig, die 15 km lange und 30-minütige Fahrt zum Flughafen kostete mich nur 11 €. Leider werden die Preise in Taiwan und Japan viel teurer sein, sodass Taxis in Zukunft keine Option mehr sein werden. Am Flughafen musste ich lange warten, bis ich mein aufgegebenes Gepäck abgeben konnte, und nach der Sicherheitskontrolle und der Einreise schlenderte ich zur Sky Hub Lounge, wo ich zum ersten Mal eine Flughafenlounge besuchte. Ich habe meiner Visa-Karte eine Priority-Pass-Base-Mitgliedschaft beigefügt, die mich immer noch 30 € kostet, aber ich denke, ab und zu kann man etwas Luxus genießen. Alle Speisen und Getränke sowie bequeme Sitzgelegenheiten sind in der Lounge kostenlos und natürlich habe ich mich an dem wirklich guten Essen satt gegessen :-) Auch mein Flug nach Taipeh hatte Verspätung, sodass ich noch mehr Zeit habe, den einmaligen Zugang zur Lounge zu genießen Werde ich während meiner Reise nutzen, es wird keinen anderen Flughafen geben, an dem sich das zeitlich danach lohnt.
