Kenting Crab & Nightlife

A lazy day of taking care of myself (with a bit of success, blister on foot almost healed now) strolling on the beach, collecting pieces of coral and seashells, all the while observing the numerous hermit crabs 🦀 in all sizes and house styles. So cute, whenever they felt a vibration in the sand or saw a shadow they stopped movement and pretended to be just a seashell. Later I dined in a Thai restaurant and had some vegetarian Pad Thai... which had shrimps and chicken meat in it 🤔 so vegetarian xD 😆 and then I walked up and down the night market of Kenting Street, amazing how something that looks almost dead by day can turn into vibrant hustle and bustle at night with so many people walking up and down the road from booth to booth, eating, drinking, playing and spending money in all the shops that were closed garage doors before 6 pm. Still I am happy to move on to a big city tomorow, even if I didn't visit the famous old lighthouse of Kenting :-) I can see those at home.

Später habe ich in einem thailändischen Restaurant gegessen und vegetarisches Pad Thai gegessen ... mit Garnelen und Hühnerfleisch 🤔 total vegetarisch xD 😆 und dann bin ich auf dem Nachtmarkt in der Kenting Street auf und ab gelaufen, erstaunlich, wie etwas, das bei Tag tot aussieht, nachts zu lebhaftem Trubel erwacht, wenn so viele Menschen die Straße von Stand zu Stand auf und ab laufen, essen, trinken, spielen und Geld in allen Geschäften ausgeben, deren Garagentore vor 18 Uhr geschlossen waren. Trotzdem freue ich mich, morgen in eine große Stadt zu ziehen, auch wenn ich den berühmten alten Leuchtturm von Kenting nicht besucht habe :-) Die kann ich auch zu Hause sehen.Read more
