An Afternoon in Yokohama

Today, I explored a small part around Yokohama Station, just to get a little taste of Yokohama, I had a look at the main headquarters of Nissan where they had a cool showroom, I strolled to Ringo Park near the harbor, I visited the Nissin Cup Noodle museum, designed my own cup and last but not least, I took a shortcut back to the train station with the Yokohama Sky Cable car. A relaxing and uneventful day :-) Tomorrow I will leave my Chiba accomodation behind and journey on to Nikko. Tohoku, the northern Region of Honshu, the main isle of Japan is what I will explore in the next two weeks. Afterwards I will return to the Kanto Region again and stay another week in Nihonbashi, close to the center of Tokyo. Tokyo has so much to offer and I used this first week only to touch some wide area locations, since I was stationed away from the center as well. When I stay in central Tokyo, I will thoroughly explore the heart of the city with well known districts like Akihabara, Shibuja, and many more.
