A trip to the Kerama Islands

Just as planned, I set the alarm to 7:15, to get out of bed in time for breakfast and getting to the ferry port. There we bought tickets (that luckily were 20% off) to Zamami Island in the Kerama Islands National Park. The weather was sunny, warm and dazzling. The trip with the car ferry was nice, since we could enjoy time on deck and see the Kerama blue 💙 ocean 🌊🪸 pass us by and the small beautiful islands moving closer and closer. After a small stop at Aka Island we continued to Zamami Island 🏝️ where we had about 4 hours till our departure trip back to Naha. We used the time to walk to a nearby observation spot from where you could look over the islands. After that
we returned to the village and had some late lunch at a small restaurant. Before we took the rocket ferry back, we enjoyed coffee and some soft ice at the visitors center. The rest of the day we spent resting for our Returnflight to Seoul. Tomorrow at 13:05 I will fly back to Seoul for a final night at the airport before I bring my Journey to it's conclusion.

Wir nutzten die Zeit, um zu einem nahegelegenen Aussichtspunkt zu laufen, von dem aus man die Inseln überblicken konnte. Danach kehrten wir ins Dorf zurück und aßen ein spätes Mittagessen in einem kleinen Restaurant. Bevor wir mit dem Schnellboot zurückfuhren, gönnten wir uns im Besucherzentrum Kaffee und etwas Softeis. Den Rest des Tages verbrachten wir damit, uns für unseren Rückflug nach Seoul auszuruhen. Morgen um 13:05 Uhr geht es dann für die letzte Nacht im Flughafen zurück nach Seoul, bevor sich der lange Weg meiner Reise dem Ende entgegen neigt.Read more
