Marsailles & Cassis

Started this morning with breakfast in our room overlooking the ocean as we got ready for the day at our second port: Sanaray Sur-Mer, France!

First, we drove through a beautiful national park (Parc national des Calanques) to get to Marsailles, France! We walked around the port city, got crepes and coffee, and visited the city’s Basilica. The city had just hosted an “olympic torch” ceremony 2 days ago for the upcoming France Olympic Games!

In the afternoon, we drove to Cassis, France which was the cutest little harbour town area. We walked around the shops, saw the local beach, and had drinks/lunch at an outdoor café. We then headed back to the ship for dinner by the pool!Read more
