    Madurodam. Tour The Netherlands fast

    June 24 in the Netherlands ⋅ ⛅ 27 °C

We had been encouraged by a rallye team member to go and see. It took us two hours to visit. Not big as France miniature of course the Netherlands are smaller but quite interesting. Buildings we can see from the park spoil the perspectives..

    Back to the Groningen

    June 23 in the Netherlands ⋅ ⛅ 26 °C

That's all folks! What a pity it ends. We really enjoyed the way the rally has been conducted and planned by Superlative Adventure Club. Thanks for all these discoveries, knowing we still have so much to see.
Eager to join to another discovery, the grail is the thw Atlantic Pacific Ocean Drive but car must be well prepared and it has to be budgeted. I guess we will train on some more SAC adventures first..
We recommend anyone to try a SAC rally then you will get addicted

    To Gdansk. Poland.

    June 21 in Poland ⋅ ⛅ 19 °C

Our today stop was Gdansk. It took us three hours to go through both Russian and Polish borders, so feeling definitely lucky we are to enjoy Schengen space where there are no borders between members. I remember Gdansk from Solidarnosc movement leaded by Lech Walesa. I never heard about their amazing Heritage!! A must to see. Our hotel was located in a suburb of Gdansk close to the railway station. Easy to buy tickets and go to downtown. In train some Polish are not helping changing their country reputation abroad....
More people speak English in Poland than in Russia. My 27 years old Bentley was parked in front of a laye one. Did they share some experiences???

    Gdansk the magnificent

    June 21 in Poland ⋅ ⛅ 22 °C

At the time of its splendour, Gdansk was rich enough to hire Dutch architects whom buildings have been through the eras and multiple wars .
Absolutely stunning and far far from my perception of this city while Solidarnosz and Lech Walesa where highlighting news of the World

    Amber museum of Kaliningrad

    June 21 in Russia ⋅ ⛅ 21 °C

We visited an interesting museum about amber. Some nice copies of Artefacts displayed elsewhere in Russia some belonging originally to the Romanov, others are new creations and some are fully "CCCP" products. Unfortunately not the best artefacts as artists didnot get freedom to express themselves

    Riga. Latvia.

    June 19 in Latvia ⋅ ⛅ 25 °C

We travelled two states capital ine one day. Tallin in the morning, Riga in the evening. We greatly appteciated Tallin but not we have not been fond of Riga. But the Bellevue hotel there saved the city. Truly amazing place where to stay after our bad Saint experience in Capital hotel Saint Petersburg.
Riga as Tallin is a mix of modetn and Soviet architecture but the Heritage from the pre-soviet era is mich more well cared in Tallin, hope Riga will be able to renovate all the buildings that could really enhance the capital city charm
