    Lord Howe Island

    November 22, 2018 in Australia ⋅ 🌧 22 °C

Well the weather has certainly taken a turn for the worse here. Torrential rain overnight with showers on and off during the day. We ventured out this morning and walked over to the eastern side of the island ( the bit that faces New Zealand ). While being quite overcast it is not cold, we walked over to a place called Middle Beach, it is quite different to the western side which is protected by the coral reef. This side is exposed to the full fury of the ocean and is very rugged. Strolled back for lunch then off for a massage to ease my aching muscles and a relaxing afternoon.Read more
