About 16kms after we headed South we crossed the Tropic of Capricorn just up the road from Capricorn Roadhouse. Something caught our eye and we just had to stop. There weren't many cars but this place was full of trucks filling up with fuel or for a feed, or even stopping for the night. Check out the photos and you can see what caught our eye. We drove another 13kms and camped in a big gravel pit and we are still here on Sunday night 20th.Read more

Traveler What a great trip down memory lane. There’d dirt, the rocks, the camp sites, the long highway and empty spaces, how they are calling us back. Thank you for your notes and photos. I would love to put them on a slide show or print them and stick them into a book. The are so nice to look back on. Enjoy making memories, thank you for sharing. I am still in rehab until the end of this month.

Traveler We are glad you are enjoying reading about our adventures. I know some are a bit long winded but that's just me. By the end of the month you won't be walking out of rehab, you'll be running.
