Volcano Teide

La Rambleta is the short trail from the top of the cable car to the crater.. and no passes are being issued except to experienced mountaineers.. so Teide is closed again today.. I now have 2 days left for things to change.. before I transfer to Santa Cruz.
It's the hope that kills you☹️

Postscript..those in the know have said no chance of anything changing in next 3 days..high winds and snow have effectively made Teide unaccessible…..all the people who’ve bought cable car tickets also cant ascend..no paths..no buses into the Teide NP..its just impossible...so I have given up..and already looking at flights to come back out here next month to have another go…I am nothing if not determined..and can now get on the beers in the sun here☀️..a silver lining I feel…am over this disappointment already☺️Weiterlesen
