An early start from Nowra for our drive over to Canberra. We arrived midmorning for our visit to Auntie Jean and Stuart. After lunch, Stuart took us out for a drive around the city, getting our bearings.
We stopped into Regatta Point Visitors Centre on Lake Burley Griffin with views over to the National Library. We walked around park and saw bats hanging from the trees. Flying foxes. From there, we visited the Australian Parliament with great views down to the old parliament buildings and Anzac Parade.
