Canberra Balloon Festival 2025

It was a 6am rise to find out online if the balloons were flying today. It was worth it, as it was a yes! The last 2 days flights being cancelled due to wind. We grabbed thermal coffee cups and Stuart headed us down to Lake Burley Griffin. What a fabulous site at dawn. After a slow start, they all took gracefully to the sky. It was a great spectacle to witness, and we felt so lucky to be in Canberra this week. We were so glad the weather was on our side.Read more
