Flaming Gorge, UT

After a quick stop in Fort Collins, where London played in the playground with challenges from Keian, we made our way to Flaming Gorge. The drive was challenging as the wind was harsh blowing trucks off the road. Then it started to rain and when the weather got colder it turned to sleet and we soon realized our windshield wipers needed replacing! We made it to a rest stop on Elk Mountain where we camped for the night but it was extremely windy and cold.
The next day, after a stop for me windshield wipers and London mailing her first postcards, we made it to Flaming Gorge. The sites were surreal because after each turn, there was a different scene: desert, snow, forest, water, plains. We spent the full day driving the diverse scenery before camping in an overlook.Læs mere
