Salt Lake City, UT

Went to the Natural History Museum that had great exhibits on dinosaurs, the first peoples, orcas, and clean energy. When leaving the museum, it was snowing, and we realized it was the first time London saw snow falling when she announced, "It looks like baby bubbles!"

Visited Gilgal Sculpure Garden and the Cathedral of the Madeline (a catholic church from 1909 with beautiful architecture and stained glass). Then we headed to Sugar House playground.

Once London had her fill, we visited the Great Salt Lake. We were surprised to see how low it was. It was a very long, cold walk all the way to the water. Honestly after seeing all the dead birds there, I was too scared to touch the water but the mountains in the background made a pretty view. We later found out, the dead birds are not abnormal. They just don't decompose like typical due to the salt and cold of the lake.Read more
