Well after a long long flight over to Paris we are now in Dijon. Flights were good and lots of movies watched, meals eaten and a few wines cosum ed we arrived in Paris. Getting to Gare Nord was easy but getting out not so to get to Gare du L E but luckily time was o our side and we had a lovely walk in the Autumn sunshine to our station to get toDijon.
Our first croissant off were the perfect elixir for jet laggy kiwis.
It was only w tears since we were lasting France so it quickly came back the charm of the place and the delicious buttery croissants the not so nice coffee as no one here has real milk but all so chic.
Train ride to Dijon was the perfect tonic for weary traveller's looking at harvests and rural landscapes of Autumn.
Dijon is a pretty old historic city made famous for its mustard and gateway to Burgundy . The highlight yesterday was meeting up with the Spears with a delicious dinner out.
Today was soenroaming the city looking at historic places of interest and just general watching life go by . We had a cultural immersion into the art museum but decided it was not quite our thing although amazingly clever.
What was internal the beautiful food stores at every turn and so we had little stops at various cafes for either a coffe6a beer or a bite to eat.
Tonight we dined outside on a beautiful balmy night with veal and beautiful French wines.
2 more days until we are on the trail so hopefully all signs of jet lag are over and we can beginRead more
