Had a decent sleep.
Had breakfast at hostel for 5 euros. Delicious. Met a woman from Texas, "running away from the chaos back home." She talked a lot!!!!

Yes! I too love colorful buildings! I looked around in PG the other day and most of the buildings are neutral colored - kinda boring.
RejsendeThe whole city is built on hills probably why they have a very developed Metro, Train and Bus system. The hills in Nanaimo have definitely helped with preparing for the walk😉

Woke up at 5. Very excited to get going.
All set to have breakfast but found the kitchen locked until 7:30. I sat on the stairs and ate trail mix.

Beautiful walking in the am as it is cool and refreshing Spring flowers are popping up... Like poppies( one of my favorites)
