ПутешественникOoooh - not being able to get up & stretch - that is challenging! Nice to know when I'm not the only one who finds mornings tough - I avoid them whenever possible. A 3 am shower would drown me I'm sure. Hello to Eleanor - so delighted I got to meet you.

Landed in Lisbon at 0930. Uneventful entry through customs.

Had a decent sleep.

Yes! I too love colorful buildings! I looked around in PG the other day and most of the buildings are neutral colored - kinda boring.
ПутешественникThe whole city is built on hills probably why they have a very developed Metro, Train and Bus system. The hills in Nanaimo have definitely helped with preparing for the walk😉

Woke up at 5. Very excited to get going.
All set to have breakfast but found the kitchen locked until 7:30. I sat on the stairs and ate trail mix.

Beautiful walk today with such a nice variety of beach to forest to ending with Urban ( not a fan).
Anyway, Vigo is an enormous City.

7 am start. No problem getting onto the Camino. I didn't see any other Pilgrims for over 2 hours walking.

ПутешественникIt uses a totally different muscle group. It takes the pressure off of your knees and especially quads. I a always use it with steep concrete/ pavement roads..... With extreme caution😉

Very cool morning. I used my phone as a headlamp at times when walking in the woods.
It was supposed to rain , however it didn't which was great!

ПутешественникThe Dr. Luckily was walking just ahead of me. I just walked to a private hospital. It was $147 euros to see him and I waited about an hour and a half.....The owner was such a jerk. He carried a stick to control his pup....it was not the dogs fault however Belgians can be super aggressive. The problem was the speed at which the dog changed directions. I am totally fine♥️♥️
