    Stayed the night in Gary

    June 9, 2017 in the United States ⋅ ⛅ 18 °C

It was oddly comforting to stay overnight in Gary. Familiarity was nice. We had good weather all day yesterday and this morning looks promising.

We are headed to WI to Menards for a live unload...and then to OH. Roger was super happy...I do the k ow if it was the weight of the load...lite is better fuel economy for him or the location...his childhood state. I think he mentioned something about his daughters living there.

We had kind of a Bondi g afternoon. We had to squeeze in a pickup of a trailer bc there were no empties at Georgia Pacific so we hustled thru construction zones to Masonite. When we got there we rushed thru getting unhooked and rebooked which went seemlessly. He likes that I hustle for a older fat lady. I had to crank the crank..and it was super heavy but I was doing it...and he showed me a lower hear which made it easier....I think he appreciates my effort.

I'm always early from the showers and take brief breaks so he has no wait time....all this says something to him in his old school code world

    More to follow

Love and miss you all...keep your updates headed my way...want to stay in the loop

    Near Eau Claire

    June 9, 2017 in the United States ⋅ ☀️ 27 °C

We dropped off our doors easily and headed to pick up ... IDK..but it was going to be a 7+ hour wait for a live load...so Roger was not having it. We then shut it down around 4 in this very small cute truck stop w mom and pop diner.

Had some yummy fish dinner and Roger went back to the truck. I'm.hanging out in the diner as long as they don't get busy. Lots of local clientele and talk about the heat spell of 90 coming tomorrow.

I think we will head back to the shipper tomorrow and hope that they have us loaded...otherwise we will wait and get loaded when they can get to us.

I think we are headed to Ohio from here.
