    Somewhere in TN

    June 15, 2017 in the United States ⋅ ⛅ 21 °C

We are only a few hours from ATL..and are starting a little later to try to avoid ATL morning traffic. I know we are delivering these medical gloves.. apparently for chemo treatments...but Roger hasn't found a job he likes yet. I also know that he has to get a 90 days inspection on his tractor...how all this plays out remains to be seen.

I hope we stay in Conley...which is where I started and I could get some practice in....but we shall see.

Glad everyone is doing well. Hard to be away from you all. It am beginning to see the glimmer of a light at the end of the tunnel.

Pray for my Mom as she is in the hospital...hopefully the IVs will stabilize things...may have just been a new medication she was on but has been super sleepy the last week.

Thanks for all the supportive messages and such. Means a lot

    Back at Conley, GA

    June 15, 2017 in the United States ⋅ ⛅ 30 °C

Had a realively short drive. Started later than normal to miss Atl traffic. Made it to the Consignee and dropped off our gloves and then to the Roehl training depot in Conley. Rogers truck was due it's 90 inspection.

The best part for me was we got back here and there is a training area like in Gary...and it was empty. All the students were on the road...so we had the place to ourselves! I got some great work done and the last 2 parks jobs Roger said were perfect....and let's be honest he DOES NOT hand out easy compliments. I feel sooooo much better about it.

Obviously my mind is on my mom. Apparently her new med did not work well w her current meds. her sodium got way too low which can cause some serious side effects on your organs. They can't just give you lots of sodium...it has to be added slowly. So she is on IVs and they are checking her blood every 6 hours. Once the levels are better they will see if there is brain damage or and organs malfunctioning. I can't even imagine my mom not being ok.... I just had texted her last night and she said she wasn't ok....I should have called...wish I had....wish I had been able to go on the recent trip....praying for her
