Santigo - really day 1

Found some very good coffee to kick start my wanderings, past the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, over the Rio Mapocho through Barrio Bellavista with amazing street art everywhere bringing much colour to the neighbourhood, and finally to Casa Pablo Neruda, 'La Chascona'. Neruda was a beautiful poet who led an eccentric and politically active life, reflected in the house he built among the rocky base of Cerro San Cristobal.
Then a ride in the funicular to the top of the hill.Read more
