    Palacio Barolo is a beautiful art deco office building completed in 1923. Its design was based on Dante's Devine Comedy; 100 metres tall, one metre for each canto, and 22 floors divided into 3 sections that represent hell, purgatory and paradise, with many symbolic features incorporated in the decor. The lighthouse at the top was never used for navigation but, as part of the design, was a light beaconing to heaven.Read more
