Enroute to Venice...

Left hotel @ 9am cutting it very fine for the train @ 9:35. Uber got us there in time and we then relaxed and were very relieved. Next minute the train arrived and we couldn't get on with all of our bags because there were so many ppl standing. Couldn't believe it. Got the next train at 10:06 still so many ppl that we had to stand most of the way to Ventimiglia. We had to buy a new ticket once we got to Italy 🇮🇹 because we missed our next leg.
Left Ventimiglia at 11:57 for Savona, relaxing trip with seats available, then onto Milan. Had 6 minutes to get to the platform to catch connecting train to Verona, 4 flights of stairs with all of our luggage, made it! No seats available so had to stand for the majority of the trip
Train was late so now 2 mins once in Verona to get from platform 3 to platform 10 to make it onto the train to Venice, more stairs and also made it!
Finally arrived in Venice at 8:37pm.
